Global Governance is a specialist Business Continuity Management (BCM) Training and Consulting organization based in Senderwood (Johannesburg) South Africa, serving the African and Middle East markets.
Global Governance, is licensed by the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) as an approved training provider of the five day BCI certification training course. The BCI training course underpins the CBCI (Certified by the Business Continuity Institute) examination which has been introduced as a prerequisite for any grade of BCI accreditation, as of 2008.
Our two-day (BS 25999) training course is approved by the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) under validation number SAIEE 0352-V in accordance with ECSA policy for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and has been awarded two credits.

Although thoroughly skilled in all aspects of BCM consulting, we offer unique skills in the specialized BCM disciplines of Emergency Response planning and testing, Crisis Management development and testing as well as Data Centre design specification. We additionally provide unrivalled expertise in conducting site inspections in order to assess operational risk.
Managing Director, Mark Penberthy (FBCI) has over 13 years experience in BCM consulting and has trained over 2000 BCM delegates during the previous five years. An accomplished public speaker on BCM topics, Mark was appointed a Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute in 2008.
